Slag Handling Complex on Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant, Magnitogorsk, Russia

On the basis of the requirements for the customer, as well as on the experience from previous projects has been proposed the most suitable arrangement of equipment in the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant capacity of 150 tons per hour. A feature of this complex are increased demands on purity of the material, and this by the installation of two magnetic separators, secondary treatment.

In May 2008 a contract for the supply of a complex on processing metallurgical slag at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant.

In July 2008, with deliveries beginning in equipment at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant. The package also includes KOMATSU WA470 loader and excavator KOMATSU PC450 with a set of attachments (setting Dropper, a magnetic disc).

In September 2008, start construction works in the dumps of the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant.

December 26, 2008 the grand opening of the first complex on processing metallurgical slag at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant.

In January 2010, the first complex was upgraded to increase productivity from 150 tons per hour to 195 tons per hour. New equipment to speed up the processing of metallurgical slag, which has a positive effect on volumes of valuable industrial products.

In June 2009,signed a contract to build a second complex on processing metallurgical slag capacity of 375 tons per hour. Taking into account the requirements of plant has been identified corresponding to the configuration of production chain. The new complex includes an additional suspension separation unit to extract outsized inclusions. Job production facility will allow Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant process 2.5 million tons of slag per year.

In March 2010, assembling and commissioning works have been completed and the second complex on processing metallurgical slag is put into operation.

In order to further enhance resource base in April 2010 at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant,it was decided to install the third complex processing wastes. Project work completed "Magnitogorsk Gipromez", general contractor made "MMC Engineering".

In June 2010, started first deliveries of equipment to the plant. At the same time was preparing the site for installing the production line.

In July 2010, work began on assembling the complex.

In September 2010 the launch of the installation "Amcom 3" at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Plant. The work of three complexes of Amcom LLC allows the company to process up to 9 million tons of slag per year and receive up to 1 million tons of metal-containing raw materials annually.
